The Health Policy Institute of Ohio (HPIO) provides independent and nonpartisan analysis needed to create evidence-informed state health policy that improves the health of all Ohioans. HPIO identifies policy options, monitors and forecasts health trends, analyzes key health issues, and communicates current research findings to Ohio policymakers.
Legal Aid’s Healthy Housing Project supports healthy and stable housing for low-income renters who face legal barriers throughout Cleveland and Cuyahoga County. Funding from Mt. Sinai assisted Legal Aid in representing clients, engaging in community education and outreach, and expanding its advocacy efforts for more just policies related to healthy housing. Mt. Sinai has also funded medical-legal partnerships supported by Legal Aid.
