Shelby Kaemmerer joined the Mt. Sinai Foundation as a Program Officer in January of 2024. Shelby comes to the Foundation from United Way of Greater Cleveland where she served first as Associate Director then as Director of Health Pathways. In her roles, she supported community health projects, managed the Cuyahoga County Emergency Food and Shelter Program board and grant program, and built relationships with both institutional and community partners.
Shelby received a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Missouri and a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health in Austin. She arrived in Cleveland in 2021 with a goal of building relationships with the people, institutions, and history of Northeast Ohio.
