Genese Hewston joined the Mt. Sinai Health Foundation in February 2005. Her career has been in database administration for over 30 years. Genese assists grantees with Mt. Sinai’s online grantmaking interface, processes external grant requests, analyzes past and present grantmaking data, and acts as the point of contact for outside inquiries. She supports external grantee partners to facilitate the activities of the grantmaking process.
