Craniofacial abnormalities are a diverse group of deformities in the head and facial bones. They are present at birth and range from mild to severe enough to require surgery. The Craniofacial Orthodontic Clinic at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine provides the most advanced orthodontic dental education and treatment for craniofacial abnormalities, currently serving more than 500 children from Northeast Ohio. The Mt. Sinai-Dr. Edward Reiter Craniofacial Orthodontics Fellowship, the first named craniofacial orthodontics fellowship in the country, has brought exceptional talent to Cleveland from all over the world.
